Mondays fixed for Local Hearings related to Government DepartmentsAccording to the recently passed orders from C.K. Mathews, Chief Secretary, Government of Rajasthan, all the public hearings for the registered and non-registered complaints related to the government departments will now be heard only on Monday every week.

Orders also state that in case of absence of the hearing official due to any reason, proceedings will be carried out by the next immediate authority.

These orders have passed after discussions with District Collectors of the State including Vikas Bhale of Udaipur. While the available-time schedule is yet to be decided, the orders will certainly reduce frequent up-down of people residing in nearby villages or at some distant locations of the district.

The rule will be applicable on the following departments:-

Urban Improvement Trust (UIT), Udaipur Municipal Council (UMC), PHED, PWD, Chief Medical Officer, Women and Child Welfare, District Transport Officer, Chief Planning Officer, District Industrial Center, District Education Officer (Primary and Secondary) and other administrative departments.
