Change from Bi-Monthly to Monthly

Previously, domestic consumers received their electricity bills every two months. Under the new order, they will now receive them every month. This change aims to streamline billing and payment processes for consumers.

Agricultural Consumers Excluded

Agricultural consumers are not affected by this change. They will continue to receive their bills every two months, as before.

Impact on Connections

The state has a total of 1.6 crore electricity connections. Out of these, 1.29 crore are domestic connections. The new monthly billing system will apply to all these domestic connections.
