In Photo: Police investigating dead body (face hidden), while locals surrounded the spot

It was a shocking incident for lake swimmers and morning walkers when the body of a young man was found floating over Lake Fatehsagar (paal) early this morning. Till late afternoon the body was kept unidentified at the city hospital’s mortuary but later in the evening the deceased was identified by his relatives as Kishan Sahu.

30 year old Kishan aka Lalesh was a resident of Dhan Mandi area. He was found floating in the Lake by some morning walkers who informed the police. The body was pulled out around 6:30 AM.

According to sources, Kishan left his house early morning at around 5 without informing anyone. When he did not return back till late afternoon, his family started searching for him and somehow they came to know about the dead body of a man found at Fateh Sagar today morning.

Kishan’s father reached the mortuary to identify the body and unfortunately it was that of his son Kishan.

According to Ambamata Police, Kishan used to do business of Jaggery at Dhan Mandi and was going though depression from the last few days. Kishan is survived by his parents, wife and two children.

Though police is still investigating the case but Prima Facie it is a suicide, said a police official.
