CTAE job placement starts; 12-15 more companies to arrive in two months
Udaipur, March 29, 2025 - Campus placements have started at the CTAE College of Maharana Pratap University of Agriculture and Technology (MPUAT). By the end of March, 159 students secured jobs through placements in 23 companies across the country. The college has a total of 300 students, out of which 230 took part in the placement process. Dean Sunil Joshi said that 12 to 15 more companies are expected to come in the next two months.
This year, the highest salary package offered was Rs 9 lakh per annum. The lowest package was Rs 4 lakh, and the average package stood at Rs 5.25 lakh per annum. This is higher than previous years when the maximum package was Rs 7 to 8 lakh.
Most job offers came from the production and manufacturing sector. A total of 117 students were selected by 13 companies. The sales and marketing sector had the lowest offers, with only 8 students securing jobs in two such companies.
Compared to last year, more companies are expected to visit for placements. So far, 23 companies have already participated, and with 12 to 15 more expected, the total may reach 40. Last year, 36 companies had visited.
More than 10 new companies have participated this year. These include Vedanta Group, Honda Motors Limited, Adani Group, AppPerfect, Advaiya, TAFE Tractors, Escorts India Limited, Tempson, JK Cement Limited, and K2 Cyber Security India Private Limited.
Professor Vinod Yadav said that companies that have been coming for placements for the past 7-8 years have shown great interest this time as well. The presence of manufacturing sector companies has increased, and the average salary package is also higher.
