A traffic control point will be established at Mukherjee Chowk to alleviate congestion in the area. Starting from May 2,2024, the entry of loading autos, regular autos, and four-wheeled vehicles towards the main market will be restricted from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM. This decision, made by the traffic police under the leadership of Traffic Deputy Netrapal Singh, aims to enhance the city's traffic management system.

In addition to this measure, a tour of the market was conducted on May 1,2024 by Sarafa Association President Yashvant Anchaliya and Councilor Shilpa Pamecha. Following the tour, arrangements will be made for systematic parking of two-wheeled vehicles that are currently parked haphazardly between Maldas Street and Chhoti Boharwadi.

Furthermore, the municipal corporation will paint yellow lines to designate parking areas. Additionally, to address traffic jams caused by four-wheelers coming from Mukherjee Chowk, their entry into the main market via this route will be restricted from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM, effective Thursday.
