Muslims demand a 15% Reservation
The Muslim community under the leadership of Muslim Mahasabha, Rajasthan organized a protest outside the District Collectorate demanding a 15% reservation. S.K Pathan, State President, Muslim Mahasabha said that the only solution for improving the conditions of the Muslims is to give them a reservation of 15%.

Haji Mohhamad Baksh, District President of the Mahasabha said that Political Parties have used them as a vote bank but did not pay attention to them after winning the elections. In his message to the community, he asked them to be ready for protests if demands were not met.
Giving a warning to the ruling party at the state and center, the message of non-tolerance and withdrawal of support in the next elections was announced.
A memorandum of thirty three demands has been given to Prime Minister and Chief Minister of the state through the District Collector of Udaipur by an eleven member team led by S.K Pathan.
Coordinator Rizwana Rizwi told that if Muslims were also given reservations like the scheduled castes and scheduled tribes then their condition would have been far better; they would have been educated and working at good positions.
Speakers and the officials of the Muslim Mahasabha showed disappointment since no action was taken by the government on the memorandums given by them earlier.
Irfan Multani, District Spokesperson said that if the demands of the Muslims were not fulfilled soon the Mahasabha along with members of the community will go on a protest and expose the anti-minority image of the government.
Presidents of eleven tehsils, State Secretary Mohaseen Siddhiqui, District President Naseer Bhai, District Vice-President Abdul Karim, Hafiz Shah, Firoz Khan, Mustafa Sheikh, Akhtar Siddhiqui, Aslam, Kareena Khan and all ward Presidents and members were present at todays gathering.
