Udaipur, May 10, 2025 - Under the aegis of the NCC Group Headquarters Udaipur, the 1 Raj Naval Unit NCC Udaipur organised a disaster management training programme in collaboration with the Civil Defence team. The training was conducted at Fateh Sagar in which 200 cadets from the Naval, Army and Air wings of the NCC participated.

Commanding Officer Commander Shakeel Ahmed informed that this training was initiated by the Udaipur Group Headquarters with the objective of preparing cadets to deal with disasters in the country’s current emergency scenarios.

During the training, cadets were provided with important knowledge on topics such as an introduction to civil defence, disaster management, first aid, basic life support and rescue techniques for drowning victims.

The entire PI staff of 1 Raj Naval Unit NCC, ANOs and Civil Defence team members - Dinesh Shrimali, Kailash Menaria, Naresh Choudhary, Vipul Choudhary, Manoj GC, Vishnu Sharma, Ravi Sharma, Kailash Gameti and Mukesh Sen - played a significant role in this training.
