A farewell party was organised in Excise office on the occasion of retirement of Excise Commissioner OP Yadav on Monday. Yadav shared a lot of his experiences with the entire office.

The most surprising part is that OP Yadav has never tasted liquor in his life time. He says that it is difficult to give up on alcohol once you start consuming it. Yadav is the man behind the manufacture of liquor made from saunf(fennel seeds), kesar(saffron) and many other local flavours which are actually termed as heritage liquor and are very expensive.

OP Yadav also refused to get involved in politics. He said that his focus is on his family. He also added that he has faced a lot of challenges in his life. One of them is banning illegal liquor and wine shops on highway while maintaining revenue target.
