Aangan Bar at Lalit Laxmi Vilas was all set for a happy mood yesterday evening when the trademark Hotel of the City of Lakes launched its new Liquor Menu.

The New Menu, which is a quarterly event at The Lalit, promised some selected Australian, French and South African Wines amongst its other taste bud friendly beverages.

Speaking to Gourav Deb, General Manager at The Lalit Laxmi Vilas, Udaipur, our reporter, Ayush was told that the hotel has a regular menu update program wherein Food and Beverage Menus are changed or updated every quarter. Their food menu was upgraded in April 2014.

As per Gourav, The Lalit aims to serve the best in food and beverage under one roof and with the introduction of the new beverage menu, the Hotel will endeavor to serve the best collection of Wines, Champagnes and Scotch from across the globe. The Lalit, as Gourav says, will take advantage of its heritage look to add a service of the best in cuisine.

The Lalit offers food from all regions of the world, spanning Vietnamese, Thai, Oriental, Indian, Italian, Mediterranean, Spanish, Greek, English, etc.

Gourav also said that from now onward, Food Festival will be organized every month, with the first of its kind falling on 26th July, which will be a South Indian Festival. He said that South Indian food usually brings to mind Idlis and Dosas, but this time around they will introduce a vast variety of dishes under the “Chettinad Cuisine”.
