Udaipur, October 10, 2024 - Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has plans of installing around 10,000 new mobile towers in the Udaipur district. This was announced at a seminar on telecommunication issues, held jointly by the Udaipur Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited.

The government, under the Atmanirbhar Bharat (Self-Reliant India) campaign, has made changes to its policy and is encouraging the expansion of telecommunications services using indigenous technology. The launch of 4G mobile and internet services is set to begin soon.

Present at the event were Sumeet Doshi (chief guest), deputy general manager of BSNL, MK Sharma, assistant general manager (special guest) and chairman M. A. Lunawat.
