New Criminal Laws Take Effect in Rajasthan on July 1

Rajasthan police are gearing up for the implementation of new criminal laws set to take effect on July 1. Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma will address the state's police force, CLG members, and police mitras via video conferencing on the day the laws are enacted.

Large-Scale Preparations Underway

The police headquarters is currently making extensive arrangements for this significant event. Around 50,000 people are expected to attend at their respective district SP's offices.

CM's Address Details

According to DIG Training, Rahul Katakey, the CM's address will take place from 10:00 am to 11:00 am. Awareness programs are being conducted in all districts to ensure police station-level officers are familiar with the new laws and to educate the public about the changes.

Commemorative Events

To commemorate the occasion, the Police Headquarters (PHQ) is organizing various programs. In addition to the CM's address on July 1, police will hold seminars at the district level to raise awareness about the new laws.

Recent Training Seminar

A successful two-day seminar was recently conducted at the Kotwali police station in Jaipur North. Prosecution officer Suman Rao provided training to the policemen, ensuring they are well-prepared for the new legal framework.
