New Executive Committee of Bohra Youth Association Formed

The new executive members of Bohra Youth Association have been announced on Sunday 17th January with oath taking ceremony and other formalities held at the community hall.

The executive committee members include Hussain Udaipuri (President), Rehana Germanwala (vice President), Gazanfer Ali Okasa (Chief Secretary), Anees Miyaji (Secretary) and Kamruddin Mandiwala (Treasurer) other executive members are Shakir Prithviraj, Hatim Ali Chachuliya, Sakina Dawood, Hussaini Beawerwala and Mansoor Ali Orawala.

All elected members were given oath by election convener Nasir Javed. The program was attended by Dr Zainab Banu ex president of Bohra Youth, Ismail Ali Durga ex secretary of Dawoodi Bohra Jamaat, Hibtulla Attari Secretary, Abbas Nath President of Jamaat and all senior members of Jamaat and former executive members of Bohra youth.

Hussain Udaipuri is retired from Insurance Company and engaged himself in social work and is also member of progressive writers association.

Gazanfer ali, a Btech from IIT Bombay and Director of Iqraa is working as a social activist and has also served Bohra Community as a secretary of Dawoodi Bohra Jamat.

Vice president Rehana Germanwala is Municipal Corporator from ward 47 and serving her community since long as executive member. She was also vice president of Jamat in last session.

Secretary Anees Miyaji is a renowned businessman, owner of Noble Bearing and Tools co, Miyaji is president of Bohra Youth Medical Relief Society and always got credit for his effort for blood donation from bohra community. As bohra youth is consistently donating highest units of blood in Udaipur since 1980’s.

Qamruddin Mandiwala is retired from PHED. He is treasurer of Masjid Vazeehpura since 1998. Also is president of Bohra Welfare Society, Mandiwala also served jamat as treasurer for last two sessions.
