A new weekly train is set to start between Udaipur and Patliputra. The train will leave Udaipur at 6:40 am on Wednesday and reach Patliputra 9:15 pm on Thursday. The same train will leave Patliputra at 00:10 hrs on Friday and reach Udaipur at 2:50 pm on Saturday afternoon.

The Udaipur-Patliputra weekly humsafar express will pass through Berach, Nagda, Bharatpur, Mathura Jn, Kanpur Central, Lucknow and Mughalsarai.

The train will cover the distance of 1779kms in 38.35 hrs at an average speed of 46kms.

The train will be run by a diesel engine and the primary responsibility of rake maintenance will lie with the Udaipur division.
