The new executive members of Bar Association took pledge before holding their positions today, in an oath taking ceremony organized at District Court; members were given oath by Chief Justice Govind Mathur.

Number of law practitioners were present in the function today, with Chief guests, including Govind Mathur Chief Justice, Gulabchand Kataria BJP leader, Roopkumar Khurana, UIT Chairperson and Rajni Dangi Municipal Council Chairperson. Program was headed by Ramchandra Jhala District Judge.
The newly elected executive committee took oath in hands of Chief Justice Govind Mathur. The committee consisted of Bharat Joshi, president, Manzoor Hussain, vice president, Bharat Vaishnav, chief secretary, Ankur Tank, secretary, Swati Robert, finance secretary and Abhinav Dwivedi, library secretary.
Govind Mathur in his address speech soon after the ceremony said that all the political parties, social groups and individuals must come together with a demand of Tribunal for the City, so that long pending cases get an appropriate hearing.
Mathur added that in cases of arbitration, Udaipur has had maximum numbers, but there is no advocate from the city to plead for the cases; he also said that to develop the members, Bar Association must organize seminars on regular basis.
