Shri Jagannath Rath Yatra will take place on the 4th of July this year. Preparations are on for this grand yatra. It has been appealed to stay away from gulal and cracker bursting during the yatra. Also there should be no “swagat dwaars” and every organisation carrying out their ‘jhanki’ must necessarily have it registered.

A meeting was held in Asind ki Haveli on Sunday 23rd June regarding rules and regulations to be followed during the rath yatra. It was also stated that people participating in the yatra must be attired traditionally. All committees were also directed to stay away from the use of plastic.
