To prevent the spread of swine flu in the city, nursing students of Udaipur visited 7500 houses under the action by Medicine Department. During the drive, 1464 people were detected with cold-cough. 25,841 people were made aware of the swine flu.

Here, 17 patients detected with swine flu are hospitalized at MB Hospital. On Wednesday, 18 beds were full of swine flu ward on the first floor. With an increase in the number of suspects of swine flu, the hospital administration is setting up isolation ward in skin ward.

Deputy Director of Ayurvedic Department Dr. Manohar lal Dhakad held a meeting on a district level where the decision was taken to procure all necessary actions to prevent and cure swine flu in the district.

Dr. Balkrishna Sharma said that at all Ayurvedic hospitals situated at Moti Chowhatta, Ambamata and Gulab Bagh, Kadha is being distributed at regular time intervals for seasonal diseases, as well as for swine flu prevention.
