Udaipur has become the second station in Ajmer division to have an Ola Zone established. This arrangement has been done for 3 months under trial basis and may be extendeed on the basis of performance to other stations in the Ajmer division.

Ola zone will help passengers arriving at Udaipur station to take cabs into the city. As part of the arrangement, 5 Ola cabs will be stationed at a fixed location called Ola Zone. Ola kiosk will be set up within station premise and commuters will be able to book a cab with help of Ola representatives.

Ola zone will serve as pickup and drop-off point for customers. This arrangement is expected to cut down the practice of overcharging at railway station. A hot spot will guide passengers for easy accessibility to Ola Zone.

Railways will be paid Rs 45000 for the three month trial period. Post this period, a tender will be floated inviting interest for a 3 year period.
