Chain snatchers are over active in Udaipur city. They are even ruthless. In the latest incident 2 young men beat up an old woman before snatching the gold chain from her neck. 65 year old Kamla Kunwar was beaten up early morning at 5 when she was on her regular morning walk routine on Tuesday. The woman has received severe injuries.

As reported in Savina police station, the woman was barely a short distance away from her home when 2 men on scooty came and hit her on the face. They bashed her up badly and she fell on the ground. The ruthless chain snatchers then attempted to snatch the 3 tola gold chain from her neck. The woman fought to save herself but they continued to beat her and finally escaped after snatching the chain. A CCTV footage of the incident has been taken by the police and they are on the lookout for these miscreants.
