Currently, the responsibility for MNREGA work in the new districts of the state will remain under the jurisdiction of the existing Zila Parishad. The Panchayati Raj and Rural Development Department has clarified and resolved any ongoing uncertainties regarding this matter. Nevertheless, the government has appointed Assistant Chief Executive Officers (ACEOs) in the newly established districts to oversee the operations. However, full authority for work management has not been entirely delegated to them. In accordance with directives from the Department's Principal Secretary, Abhay Kumar, the delineation of boundaries for these new districts in Rajasthan is currently ongoing, and the process of establishing boundaries for their subordinate District Councils, Panchayat Committees, and Gram Panchayats is also underway.

The matter of jurisdiction concerning the District Program Coordinator and Additional Program Coordinator has been clarified. It has been determined that until further notice, the work associated with MNREGA, which was previously managed by the Panchayat Samitis and Gram Panchayats within the boundaries of the old district, will continue to be overseen by the old district's Program Coordinator and Additional District Coordinator. This arrangement will persist as it was prior to the creation of the new districts. It is important to note that Salumber has been separated from Udaipur to form a new district.

A state of uncertainty had arisen following the establishment of new districts, particularly regarding the administration of MNREGA projects. In light of this, inquiries were made regarding the progress of these initiatives during a recent meeting held in Jaipur. The department has since taken steps to provide clarification on the matter.
