Science Olympiad Foundation (SOF) conducted second regional Prize ceremony for CBSE schools of Southern Rajasthan at Maharana Mewar Public School, City Palace(Udaipur). In the ceremony, 50 students came with their parents from schools of district Chittorgarh, Udaipur, Bhilwara & Rajsamand. These students had secured top 5 positions in the Olympiads and were awarded with Medal, Certificate & memento.

Rockwoods High School’s Prayanch Jain was awarded special prize by Chief Guest Dr P.K.Dashora, member RPSC, for securing first prize at International Maths Olympiad.

The chief guest also distributed trophies to the best performing teachers & principals. Best principal award of the year was given to Neeru Tendon from DPS & Dibyendu from DAV. Best teacher award was given to Pankaj Sharma from Central Public School, Dr. C.P.Sharma from Central Academy School Sardarpura, Sadhna Doshi from Maharana Mewar Public School & Yaseen Mohammad from Central Academy, Chittorgarh.

Special guest, Dr. R.P. Singh (AVP H.R.-J.K.Cement), emphasized the need to develop logical thinking of children. The regional coordinator, Mr. Amit bhatt said that he hoped that very soon our students from our region will prove themselves at international level.

It is to be noticed that the SOF is an NGO that conducts Asia’s biggest Olympiad every year namely National Cyber Olympiad, National Science Olympiad, International Mathematics Olympiad & International English Olympiad.
