In order to promote the sale of local products and to encourage small entrepreneurs, the one station one product scheme started by the central government has been changed by the railway administration in the rules of its establishment and allocation to make it more profitable.

Earlier, Rs. 1000 license fee for 15 days was charged for allotment of stalls at all stations. Now the license fee at big stations has been kept the same but at small stations it has been reduced to Rs. 500 per 15 days. Presently this stall was being allotted for 15 days, which can now be allotted for 3 months. Products are set for all stations. If stall operators related to these products are not available, then stalls of other products can also be allotted by replacing these products. The stall will be provided by the Railways. For the allotment the concerned Superintendent of the station will have to be contacted.

This scheme has been started by the railway administration with a view to provide a market to the local indigenous producers. Outlets/stalls have been allotted for the sale of local products at various stations of the division at the concerned railway station. Under the 'One Station One Product' scheme, local products of the concerned station such as handicrafts, construction and textile related products, handicrafts and food products have been made available at each stall.

Among the products prescribed at various stations of Ajmer circle - rose water, gulkand, pichoi painting mehndi, sweet chocolate, chili pickle, handicraft items, bamboo products / mirchibada, wooden toys, kachori, pottery, cloth. products, papad, fast food items, embroidery items, marble products, umbrellas, artificial jewellery, decorative items, mango pickle, bakery products, papad bhujia, handicrafts/wooden toys, leather shoes, paintings etc will be available.
