Udaipur is getting smarter. An Open Gymnasium was inaugurated today at Govind Singh Park, Fateh Sagar by Mayor Chandra Singh Rathore. The gymnasium has been established by Fortune Pvt Ltd in the memory of Late Mahesh Bharadwaj. Responsibility for maintenance of gymnasium has bee given to Municipal Corporation.

Mayor, Chandra Singh Kothari said that this is a good initative for supporting the citizen in their endeavour to stay fit and healthy. He said that efforts will be made to open similar gymnasiums in othe parks of Udaipur city.

This is a welcome initiative for all the citizens who come for their daily morning and evening exercise regime to the park. The facility will be open for citizen throughout the week.

Kamla Bhardwaj, Director Fortune Pvt Ltd., informed that the company procured 8 equipments at a cost of Rs 6 Lakhs and has transferred the responsibility of maintenance to Municipal Corporation. 7 out of the 8 equipments were installed today whereas the eighth equipment – a air walker will be installed tomorrow.

Architect Abhinav Mantri was instrumental in choice of location for the gymnasium.
