The Dangi Patel Community has filed a memorandum to the Police Superintendent for speeding up the investigations in the Motilal Dangi firing case.

BJP Leader Motilal Dangi was shot at by three unidentified gunmen near his residence in the morning of 15^th July.

The Dangi Community demanded that the Police Department affect a swift arrest of the people who attacked the BJP General Secretary.

“This petrifying event has left the people of the city and the Dangi community in a state of shock”, said a community member.

The memorandum also cites the fact that Gangabai Dangi of Kanpur was also murdered earlier and the culprits are still on the loose. The community demanded justice, and if the people responsible for the misconduct are not captured soon, the Dangi Community threatens to demonstrate against the Police Department and the Administration.

Many members of the community signed the Memorandum filed with the SP today.
