Comment by an ex-Pacific College, Udaipur student supporting Pulwama bomber raised the tension levels significantly in the college yesterday resulting in stationing of Police outside the campus.

Aryan Shakir, an ex-student of Pacific College, shared a post after the Pulwama attack with the photograph of Adil Ahmed Dar. Below the photograph, he wrote “Salute”.

There was a of protest in the campus when other students came to know of it. Angry students started raising slogan against him. Students of Pacific College, including other Kashmiri students studying there phoned up Aryan and threatened him to take down the post. After this Aryan took down the post and apologised.

Pratap Nagar Police reached the spot when things started heating up and brought the situation under control. Police continued to be stationed outside Pacific College till late night to ensure that the situation stayed normal.
