On Friday morning, a panther was spotted at Pagda ghati ahead of Jalburj area at Dudhtalai-Sisarma road. It was actually a cub which has frequented this area for the 5th time in the last fortnight. Reportedly, the cub is not even scared of anyone and makes no attempt to attack anyone here. It was spotted relaxing in a small shady area on the hills on Friday morning. Since this area has become quite a popular area and public visits this place very often, appearance of panther is creating a terror. The pujari of the temple informed that while he was on his way to the temple in his car at 4:30 a.m., this panther cub was running ahead of the car and this made him slow down his vehicle. When another tourist vehicle came that way, the cub leapt on to the hill and hid among the shrubs. A lot of others who spotted this cub during evening hours as well clicked the images as it thirlled them to see a panther cub.
