A team from the Forest Department captured a pair of panthers from Kamlod Village in Matoon Panchayat near Udaipur.

The Panther pair had been spreading terror in the village for quite some time and after attacking cattle a few days back, the panthers went on to attacka 8 year old girl. This was reported by the villagers to the Forest Department. Taking cogniscance of this, the Forest Department appointed a team to recce the area and set up a trap last night, in which the Panther pair was captured. Capturing two panthers in the same cage at the same time is indeed a unique achievement.
