In a freak incident today morning that could have turned nasty and fatal, a Panther entered a Girls Hostel at Udaipur.

As per the CCTV footage, the Panther entered the Parmatma Girls Hostel, situated at Hiran Magri Sector 4 in Udaipur during day light, when a few residents were in the hostel. As per reports, the Panther attempted to attack a girl, but she ran and along with her co-hostelers, locked themselves in a room till the Panther exited the hostel.

The hostel authorities alerted the Police, after which the team along with a team from the Forest Department have reached the location and are assessing the situation.

The area where the hostel is situated, is a dense residential area and it is surprising that a wild animal entered such densely populated area.
