Animals and birds also need water to ease their parched throats. Pratap Nagar police station has put up 30 parindas (water pots/bird bath) for birds in the police station. Growing heat has become a matter of concern for everybody.

 Pratap Nagar police station decided to do something to ease the season for the winged creatures. They put up 30 water pots and each and every police man including officers has been given the responsibility to take care of these water pots.

Each bird bath/water pot has been numbered and names of police personnel taking care of that respective parinda have been written on them. As per Dr. Hanwant Singh Rajpurohit, the police station is frequented by a lot of birds and squirrels. “Parindas” have been put up to provide water to these creatures in the growing heat. Responsibilities have been distributed among police men so that these water pots are taken care of and regularly filled with water.

Apart from this, it was also informed that boulders stuck in Debari tunnel will be removed. This is because panthers come down the hill in search of water and use the road instead of tunnel since it is packed with stones. Many panthers have died or been injured in road accidents. Once the tunnel opens, panthers will not have to make their way through road.
