Parliament Security Breach: Intruder Caught

Aug 22, 2025 - A major security breach occurred at Parliament House early this morning at around 6:30 am. A man was caught entering the premises of the new building by climbing a tree and scaling the 20-metre high wall. He was immediately apprehended by CISF and Delhi Police staff and taken into custody.

According to the authorities, preliminary investigations identified the intruder as Ram Kumar Bind (20) from Bhadohi (Uttar Pradesh). He reached the Garuda gate of the Parliament building by jumping over the wall from the Rail Bhavan side.

CISF source said the arrested individual worked in a factory in Surat and appeared to be mentally incoherent. Probe is on to determine the motive.
