MB Hospital has more of patients with skin allergy these days, As per reports, around 500 patients reach the hospital daily with problems of skin allergies. Even children have symptoms of these skin allergies. There has been 40 percent increase in such patients who complain of rashes, acne, discolouration of skin and unbearable itching. 
Some of the symptoms occur during change of season, but reportedly certain cases have occurred because of regular use of beauty creams that promise fair, wrinkle-free and flawless skin. One of the skin specialists informed that the steroids in beauty creams give rise to infections which take longer duration to cure. 
The skin whitenng creams, anti-ageing creams etc. have steroids and some other chemicals which are harmful for kidneys, lungs and heart as well. Since these creams have steroids, hydroquinone and mercury, they give a good texture to the skin and people are tempted to use these forever. But these ingredients have side-effects which are sometimes very difficult to cure. Even soaps have mercury in them which creates skin infection and ultimately results in depression, anxiety and peripheral neuropathy. 
It is henceforth suggested to avoid the use of beauty creams that promise younger looking flawless skin.
