"Pedal to Jungle" to Begin in Udaipur from December 20

Udaipur, December 19,2024 - The eighth edition of "Pedal to Jungle" is set to promote eco-tourism in Rajasthan. This event will begin on December 20 from Udaipur under the joint collaboration of Green People Society, Forest Department, Tourism Department, and WWF India.

Rahul Bhatnagar, President of Green People Society, shared that the event will continue until December 22,2024. Participants will enjoy overnight stays at scenic locations in the Aravalli hills of the Mewar-Vagad region.

The event will be inaugurated by Arun Mishra, CEO and Director of Hindustan Zinc Limited, on December 20 at 8:00 AM from the Dewali end of Fateh Sagar Pal in Udaipur. "Goodie Bags" will be distributed to participants at the overflow end of Fatehsagar Pal.

On the second day, the journey will start from the Delwara Forest Check Post in the Ghatol Range of Banswara district. Superintendent of Police Harshvardhan Agrawal and Chief Forest Conservator Abhishek Sharma will flag off the event.

On December 22, retired IAS officer Vikram Singh and Dr. Kamlesh Sharma, Joint Director of the Department of Information and Public Relations, will meet participants at Chacha Kota near the Mahi Dam at 9:00 AM.

The closing ceremony will be held at the Shyampura Forest Block in Banswara.
