Smart city-smart citizens and many other important slogans echoed in Udaipur on Sunday while celebrating World Cycle day. Udaipur Cycling Society and Fatehsagar Cycling Club of Alok cycled together on Sunday commemorating World Cycle day.

Various issues were highlighted by means of slogans echoing in every lane of the city. Smart city-smart citizens, cycling for health, save girl child, educate the girls, save water and slogans pertaining to environment conservation were the highlight of this cycle ride. More than 100 students of Alok Institute and 50 others lead by Dr. Pradeep Kumawat gave these various important messages to the city.

The cycle ride was flagged off at Pala Ganeshji by Mahant Sunderdas. The route of the cycle ride went through Kalaji Goraji area, Surajpole, Bapu Bazar, Delhi Gate, Court Circle, Chetak, Hathipole, Clock Tower, Jagdish Chowk, Bhattiyani Chohatta and ended at Pala Ganeshji again. 3 cyclists reaching first at the reporting desk were awarded. Among the people present on this occasion were Bhupendra Singh Bhati, Shashank Tank, Nishchay Kumawat, Rakesh Bharti, Deepak Choubisa, Jaipal Singh Rawat, Navin Choubisa, Suresh Paliwal, Manmohan Bhatnagar, Rajesh Kumawat, Gaurav Kumawat, Dr. Yagya Ameta and Rekha Sisodia.
