Rajasthan Petroleum Dealers Association,Udaipur, has called for a strike on 23rd October following which the petrol pumps will stay closed on 23rd October.Secretary of the association informed that the 4 percent increase in VAT has raised the prices of fuel to the extent of 5 to 9 rupees which is higher as compared to the neighbouring states. The situation has been intimated to the government a number of times but since no positive step has been taken until now, the dealers are forced to go on strike.
