A petrol tanker from Gujarat was on its way to Uttar Pradesh. The driver lost control over the tanker at a turn near Geetanjali Hospital and it overturned.

The incident occurred on Wednesday night at the highway near the hospital. The tanker belonging to Nyara Energy Ltd. was full of petrol and was going towards Hathras in Uttar Pradesh. When the driver was about to take a turn, he lost control as a result of which the tanker overturned. The driver got injured and he was rushed to the hospital. 

Petrol started leaking from the tanker and it started flowing towards a field nearby. The accident caused traffic jam for almost 45 minutes.

Police reached the spot and somehow managed to put the tanker back in place with the help of a crane. Fire brigade also reached to take control of the situation in case of mishap.
