Students of College of Pharmacy, MLSU, who had been on a hunger strike for past 48 hours, have decided to end their strike after the assurance over their demands by MLSU Chancellor Professor I.V. Trivedi.
The students went on strike a few days ago demanding University administration to take steps to get their college recognized by PCI. They also burnt an effigy of Trivedi when they received no response to their demands.
Today, I.V. Trivedi assured the students that administration is trying to get recognition from PCI. He called the students to end their strike and said that two student representatives will be invited to a meeting with administration related to the issue.
Students agreed to the Chancellor and thanked him for his concerns.
