Yesterday medium to low showers drizzled irregularly keeping the roads wet and forced people to carry umbrellas but the rain could not really made the city locals happy.

In the last 24 hours Kotra receives 3 inch of rain, which is maximum in the region while Udaipur city has received 29 mm, Dewas 55, Udaisagar 34, Vallabh Nagar 18, Madar Bada 32 and Nai 25 millimeter respectively.

Sisrama, the main source of water supply to Lake Pichola is flowing with nearly 4.5 feet. This raises the lake level by 1 foot. The Badi lake has also received good water which has increased its level to +3 inch. Likewise Madar, Udaisagar and Gasa Lake have also received good water.

Now, the only wish is to see Lake Fateh Sagar and Sawroop Sagar overflowing with their maximum capacity. Meterological department is optimist about the next few days as monsoon is still active in the region.
