May 7, 2025 - Prime Minister Narendra Modi chaired a Cabinet meeting this afternoon (May 7) where he termed Operation Sindoor a "moment of pride". The Indian Armed Forces had, early this morning, carried out a targeted military strike on nine terror camps across the border to avenge the Pahalgam terror attack.

PM Modi praised the successful military strike and informed the Cabinet that the operation was executed exactly as planned, with "no mistakes whatsoever" and the forces "successfully completed" the retaliatory attack.

The Cabinet lauded the success of the strikes and expressed support for the action.

PM Modi also praised the armed forces for their "commendable job" and "immaculate execution"m and said that “the whole country was looking up to us. We are proud of our Army."

The Ministers expressed their unwavering support for the decision under the Prime Minister’s leadership, emphasising that the whole nation stands united with him and the Armed Forces in the battle against terrorism.
