According to PM Modi, his government is aiming to strengthen all marginalised groups in society and to properly honor those whose efforts have gone unappreciated for a long time. In order to join in the 1111th incarnation celebration of the folk god Lord Devnarayan, who is mostly worshipped by the Gujjar community, PM Modi travelled to Bhilwara District, Rajasthan.

Speaking to a crowd in Malaseri Dungri Village, 60 km from Bhilwara, the prime minister noted how the Gujjar people served as a sentinel in every era and emphasised the part they played in the independence fight and other activities. He referred to Bhoop Singh Gujjar's Bijoliya farmer campaign as having served as an inspiration for many in the struggle for independence. He said that soldiers like Kotwal Dhan Singh and Jograj Singh sacrificed their life for the country.

He continued by saying that his government is continuing to follow the motto "vanchit ko variyata," which favors the underprivileged people by giving examples of Women such as Ram Pyari Gujjar and Panna Dhai who continue to inspire us. He also said to the Gujjar youth to carry forward the teachings of Lord Devnarayan as it will benefit in strengthening the community and will carry forward the country.

Union Minister of State, Arjun Ram Meghwal, MP Subhash Chandra Baheria, Hemraj Gurjar and priest of Malaseri Dugri were also present in the event.
