Cyber crime is on the rise. Cases of online fraud keep erupting every now and then and sometimes it becomes too late for the amount to be recovered. To curb the cases of online fraud, police constables in Udaipur will be trained in cyber crime.

One police constable from every police station will be trained for dealing with online fraud. A cyber expert and one employee each from every bank will be present during the training. The constables will be trained in tracing the cyber thugs, eventually recovering the money lost to the thugs.

A meeting will be held today to finalise the training schedule. As of now, it is being discussed that a day or 2 of the training will be carried out. Once these constables are trained, public will get good assistance from the constables and will not have to make a run for the cyber crime offices all the time.

SP Dr Pachar has appealed to the public that any cyber crime with respect to money must be reported at the earliest. Once delayed, the recovery of the lost amount becomes a difficult task. When reported on time, the cyber experts can trace the online thugs and block their accounts and can recover the amount to a great extent.
