Dhanmandi area saw a lot of unrest today over the incident of a policeman hitting a businessman at Dhanmandi today morning. Businessmen in the area protested against the incident and demanded removal of the errant policeman.

As per the information available, a policeman hit one businessman in the Dhanmandi area today morning. Agitated by the unwarranted hitting, businessmen in the area brought down shutters of all shops in the area. They also blocked the road demanding removal of the policeman.

A police force was deployed in the area to keep the situation under control. People continued their protest despite the CI asking for restraint. Businessmen were stuck to their demand of having the errant policeman removed for their protest to be called off.
