Pratap Singh Rathore declared President of Lakecity Press Club
Amid rains and changed weather, Udaipur Lakecity Press Club declared its president on Sunday. TV Journalist Pratap Singh Rathore of Aaj Tak emerged as the final winner for the post of President out of Om Purbia of Pratah Kaal and Dainik Navjyoti’s Pramod Gaur as other presidential candidates.
Amid rains and changed weather, Udaipur Lakecity Press Club declared its president on Sunday. TV Journalist Pratap Singh Rathore of Aaj Tak emerged as the final winner for the post of President out of Om Purbia of Pratah Kaal and Dainik Navjyoti’s Pramod Gaur as other presidential candidates.
Total 120 journalists voted in which Pratap Singh won with 86 votes; Om receiving 25 votes and Pramod- only 8 votes. The process of voting commenced at 10 AM after nomination filing under the supervision of Arun Vyas and Rafeek Pathan. Unable to find supporters, Sandeep Kumawat couldn’t file nominations leading to finalists Pratap Singh, Om Purbia and Pramod Gaur.
Voting held between 12 to 1.30 PM after which the counting began. Pratap Singh Rathore was declared winner and was congratulated by all his supporters and other journalists.
Founder President Rituraj, former president Sanjay Khabya, Sanjay Gautam, Narishwar Rao, Akhtar Khan and Manurao were present at the occasion. Pratap in his winning speech said that all journalists are under the same chart in the club. He also proposed to walk with truth and in unity.
