Udaipur, December 21,2024 - A 12-year-old girl, Sushila Meena, from a small village named Ramer Talab in Dhariyawad Tehsil, Pratapgarh district of Udaipur Division, became the talk of social media on Friday, December 20, 2024. Her unique bowling style impressed legendary cricketer Sachin Tendulkar.

Sushila’s bowling video went viral on social media. The video caught the attention of Sachin Tendulkar, who shared it on X (formerly Twitter) and tagged Zaheer Khan. Tendulkar praised the young talent from a rural area.

Sushila is a Class 5 student at Sushila Government Primary School in Ramer Talab. She is an under-13 left-arm bowler. Her teacher, Ishwarlal, is helping her learn cricket and improve her bowling.

Challenges in the Village

Sushila lives in a remote village where mobile network connectivity is poor. The village does not even have a proper cricket ground. Despite these challenges, she practices in open spaces near her school. Her parents, Ratanlal and Shanti Bai, are farmers who support her dreams.
