UdaipurTimes, Oct 16, 2026 - Gold and silver prices have been fluctuating considerably in recent days, and both precious metals recorded marginal gains on Thursday, October 16. The price of 24-carat gold increased by Rs 572 to Rs 1,46,514 per 10 grams today. Silver prices also rose, with the price of one kilogram increasing by Rs 2,037 to reach approximately Rs 2.10 lakh.
In the last five days gold had fallen by Rs 3,488 and silver by Rs 12,834 in 5 days: 10 grams of gold fell to Rs 1.46 lakh, silver reached Rs 2.08 lakh.

Gold Futures gained today with the December contract on the MCX trading at Rs 1,48,365 per 10 grams, up Rs 876 from the previous close.
