Prime Minister Manmohan Singh to Visit Kherwada on 20th Oct

Udaipur district administration conducted a meeting today at Div Commissioner’s office regarding the prior arrangements to be made for the proposed visit of Prime Minister, Dr Manmohan Singh and UPA Chairperson, Sonia Gandhi to Kherwada on October 20.

The preparatory meeting was conducted in the leadership of Dr. Subodh Kumar Agrawal, Div Commissioner and other top administrative officials of the district including Abhay Kumar Singh, secretary of Disaster Management and Rescue Department and NREGA commissioner.

Sujata Chaturvedi, Joint Secretary of Adhaar Card and other officials including District Collector, Vikas Sitaram Bhale were also present in the meeting.

According to Chaturvedi, there is a target of 60000 Adhaar Cards in Udaipur. While explaining the process of Adhaar Card, she asked for mutual cooperation between administration and bank to make the procedure easier. She asked to do all the necessary preparation for achieving this target.

The proposed visit of Prime Minister will also include presentations of MNEREGA, Pension and Student Scholarship and Chief Minister BPL housing plans.

All queries and suggestions were shared with NEREGA commissioner, Divisional Commissioner and District Collector. The officials expect to make the visit of Prime Minister successful.

Along with the officers and representatives of the bank and mobile companies, Mohammad Yasin Pathan, Former District Collector, B.R Bhati, Additional District collector and Abrar Ahemed, Chief Executive Officer, Pragya Kevalrani, Former Divisional Commissioner and officers of various departments were present in the meeting.
