Prof. I.V Trivedi will continue as the Vice Chancellor for Mohan Lal Sukhadia University after State Government recently passed orders renewing his tenure for another 3 years. The orders were passed after seeking approval from the Governor of State.

The quest for new Vice Chancellor ended after Prof I.V Trivedi was re-appointed as VC for another session of three years. Earlier it was speculated that Trivedi might get temporary extension till new VC is appointed.

Prof. I.V Trivedi has been closely associated with MLSU on both personal and professional grounds. Having completed his higher education from MLSU, he was first appointed as a lecturer and thereafter served the University as Associate Professor for nearly 20 years.
