Foster Care India along with UNICEF held a workshop with a motive to strengthen the system where orphans, needy and abandoned children will be granted family based or non-institutional alternative care. The workshop was presided by Dr. Veena Dwivedi.

In regards to the workshop, the personnel were trained for better consultation, behavioral change process for able leadership, better team work, case study, news writing and efficient work in group through the medium of audio/visual and games. The trainees were taught how to collect data, observe the limitations and how every social activist should be neutral while fighting for a cause.

Foster care India’s President Ian Anand informed that soon there will be option of non-institutional alternative care for abandoned and orphaned children in Udaipur with the help of UNICEF and government. Shilpa Mehta managed the workshop while Rajesh Sharma thanked for the contribution in the survey work.
