In what can be said as a heroic deed and mercy of God, Arjun Singh Fattawat, Loco Pilot prevented a suicide on the Udaipur – Ahmadabad rail track.

As per information, Arjun Singh was the loco pilot of the train between Udaipur – Ahmadabad and while enroute between Himmatnagar and Veeravada station last night at 1:40AM he noticed something on the railway track.

At that time the speed of the train was 60km/hr.  As the train approached the spot, Arjun realized that someone was lying on the tracks. He made a quick decision and applied both normal and emergency brakes at the same time, thereby preventing the train from running over the man.

The person, later identified as Mohan (23) was trying to commit suicide, frustrated from domestic troubles. Mohan insisted to let him die and even threatened that he will either jump infront of a vehicle on the highway or will go to the forest in the night.

There was no guard in the train at that time, so Mohan was not arrested. Whilst this incident, train had to make a halt of nearly 15 minutes.
