Udaipur, December 26,2024 - Teachers who were appointed under the Rajasthan Rural Education Service Rules 2010 can now get CAS benefits. Some of these teachers had been waiting for CAS benefits since before December 31, 2008, due to a delay. After a long effort by the All India National Educational Federation Rajasthan (Higher Education), the Directorate of College Education has now approved the CAS benefits for these teachers.

• 16 teachers will get higher pay (senior pay scales).

• 20 teachers will get a selected pay scale.

• 41 teachers will also get a selected pay scale.

What is CAS?

CAS stands for Career Advancement Scheme. It is a program by the government of Rajasthan to reward and promote teachers in government colleges and universities by giving them higher pay based on their performance and experience.

How does CAS work? To get benefits from CAS, teachers need to meet certain requirements:

1. Teachers must ask for CAS benefits within three months of the due date.

2. They need to submit a form (PBAS) and show proof of their work and achievements.

3. Teachers must meet certain performance levels (API guidelines).

Eligibility for CAS

• Serve a certain number of years after joining.

• Attend special training courses.

• Have good performance records.
