In the 2023 National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) released by the Ministry of Education, two medical colleges in Rajasthan have secured places in the top 50. These colleges are the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in Jodhpur and Sawai Man Singh Medical College in Jaipur. The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in Jodhpur is the premier medical college in the state, and it has been ranked 13th in the NIRF 2023 Medical College Rankings.

Sawai Man Singh Medical College has secured the 46th position in the NIRF 2023 Medical College Rankings, whereas in 2022, AIIMS Jodhpur was positioned 16th in the list of the state's medical colleges.

In 2023, AIIMS Jodhpur exhibited progress in both its ranking and score. It garnered a score of 57.47 in the NIRF 2022 rankings and subsequently elevated to 62.43 in the NIRF 2023 rankings. Likewise, Sawai Man Singh Medical College was positioned 46th in the NIRF 2023 rankings, whereas in 2022, it occupied the 41st spot among the nation's medical colleges.
