Udaipur, December 2,2024 - The three-day Animal Caretaker (Pashu Parichar) recruitment exam by the Rajasthan Subordinate and Ministerial Services Selection Board (RSMSSB) began on Sunday, December 1,2024. A total of 53,902 candidates were registered, with 33,883 (62.86%) attending the exam on the first day. The exam is being held in two shifts each day on December 1, 2, and 3.

On December 1, the first shift was from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM, where 17,029 (63.19%) candidates appeared out of 26,951. In the second shift, from 12:30 PM to 5:30 PM, 16,854 (62.54%) candidates attended.

The Rajasthan Roadways operated 50 buses on the Dungarpur-Banswara route to accommodate around 4,000 candidates. These buses ran from Udiapol central bus stand in Udaipur, the main hub for buses to Banswara and Dungarpur.

Candidates gathered at the bus depot late into the night to travel to the exam locations. Despite the extra buses being dispatched every 20 minutes, regular passengers faced difficulties. On normal days, only 12 buses run to Banswara and 9 to Dungarpur. However, buses from other routes, including Madhya Pradesh and Gujarat, were also utilized.
